Welcome to all of our 2010 Summer CSA members! Thank you one and all for your partnership this summer season. All of us at Heavens Harvest Farm look forward to serving you for the next 15 weeks. Please be aware that in the first few weeks of our shares there will still be some produce from our East Coast organic farming friends. Some of you will enjoy baby seedless watermelons. Others will receive cherry tomatoes for this weeks share. Please check the share contents and we will list the farms that your produce has been sourced from if it is not from us. There is a recipe section that is a separate menu bar choice for you to learn how to cook all of these delicious ingredients. We are still accepting new members for the next several weeks on a prorated basis. Please have anyone interested contact us at the farm via email – heavensorganic@yahoo.com or call the farm at 508.867.9577 For those of you who have expressed an interest and/or signed up for the beef meat share delivery: please contact us asap as the first 6 available shares will be ready later this week or early next week. We have raw milk artisan cheese from Robie Farms in NH. Gruyere, Toma, Smoked Toma and a semi soft cheddar called Piermont which is named after the town their farm is located in. All cheeses are $10 per half lb or $19 per lb. Order a week in advance with your desired pick-up. Maple Syrup from the Baxter State Park area of Maine Quarts- 1 at $25 or $22 per quart if you order 2 or more. Please remember to leave your container whether it is plastic or boxed, neatly unfolded or stacked at your site so that we can reuse them the following week. Please recycle any bags or egg cartons rather than send them back to us. We cannot by law reuse packaging or egg cartons again for our CSA members. The egg cartons are already made of recycled material and usually the bags are as well. Thank you for helping us to maintain a clean CSA site environment. If everyone does their part, it is so easy!
