Volume 4

Hello From all of us at the farm!

We are very grateful for some sunshine…now we need some heat!!! My closest  neighbor, a hay farmer told me on Friday that normally he would have 10,000 bales of hay put up by the 4th of July.  This year he has only 360 bales.  The worst year ever for a farm that has been in existence for over 200 years.

Most of our normal summer crops are beginning to exhibit some life.  Hopefully heat will begin to push them along.

Green beans, yellow beans, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, melons, cucumbers, etc coming soon!

Remember we value all of our CSA members.   Please remember to leave the boxes unfolded or plastic bins stacked neatly at your pick-up site.

Please be reminded that all shares left unclaimed by the end of the day will be donated to a food bank or a needy family by your site host.

For those people in our Wednesday Cambridge CSA at the Temple- Please call or email where the boxes and bins have been left for our driver to pick-up.

Many blessings to you all,

Ashley & Ethel
