Happy Birthday America!!! We here at Heavens Harvest Farm are very grateful for the opportunities that we are able to enjoy and see come to fruition because of the liberties that we enjoy. Even the CSA model speaks loudly as to the unlimited and exceptional business models available with a minimal amount of what many call “red tape”. Even though we are required to do a yearly application and farm inspection to retain our organic status, it is a small price to pay for the clarity that surrounds the organic standards. This process allows us to bring to you ultimately safe, locally grown, sustainable raised and organically produced vegetables and IPM fruits. We hope that you have all enjoyed the extended variety of produce and fruit that we have already been blessed to provide for you. We’ve been pleased to grow and to source fennel, cherries J, pointed cabbage, garlic scapes, kohlrabi, mint, watermelons…All of these to widen our eating and share horizons. We still need 3 or 4 members for meat shares in order to process 2 animals. We will be putting in another order for cheese. Ordering 10 lbs each in ½ lb packages of the 4 varieties Toma, Smoked Toma, Gruyere and Piermont. We also would like to share the remaining quarts of maple syrup.
